Xingyi Five Elements Fist

The Five Elements Fist is the most fundamental fist technique within Xingyi Quan, comprising Pi Quan (Splitting Fist), Zuan Quan (Drilling Fist), Beng Quan (Crushing Fist), Pao Quan (Pounding Fist), and Heng Quan (Crossing Fist). It is a martial art named after the Five Elements theory from traditional Chinese culture. This theory is integrated with the boxing patterns, where the techniques were simplified by removing the complex. Furthermore, the principles and offensive/defensive techniques of the fist are explained by applying theories of traditional Chinese medicine to the human body. It was through this synthesis that the Five Elements Fist was created.

Rich in imagery and comprehensive in their expression of force, these forms not only enhance physical fitness and transform one's mental disposition—thereby promoting longevity—but also train and master a diverse array of martial power, significantly improving offensive and defensive combat skills.
